PRICES, CURRENCIES and METHODS OF PAYMENT
£ GBP Pounds Sterling is the default currency of our website.
All Fabric prices are listed Per Metre. ( One Metre = 1.0936 Yards )
All Fabrics are Shipped and Billed in Metres.
Any other product is priced Per Item, or as listed.
Purchases can be made through choice of 3 currencies:
GBP £ Pounds Sterling (Default currency of the website )
Euros
US Dollars
Euros and Dollars are automatically calculated by the website
into the corresponding ~ Real Time ~ exchange rate of the current day.
You will notice Euro and Dollar website prices fluctuating
according to current day real time exchange rate between the
£ Pound and Euro
£ Pound and Dollar
which also applies to Euro and Dollar shipping charges.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
We accept payment via Credit Card and Paypal.
Cards accepted are: Visa, Master Card, Discover, International Maestro, UK Visa Electron,
UK Debit Visa, UK Debit Master Card, UK Maestro, Union Pay
Customer billing information must be exactly as it appears on your credit card statement.
If any numbers are different, the order cannot be processed.
PAYMENT PROCEDURE
Method of payment is by Credit Card at the point of placing an order.
After checkout stage, customer has assumed the responsibility for delivery charges.
Discovery Website will acknowledge your order with a confirmation email with details of the goods
All Product Prices are stated as FOB ~ Exclusive of VAT
Shipping within the United Kingdom:
All prices stated in GBP £ Pound Sterling are Exclusive of VAT.
~ VAT is added at checkout.
~ Shipping Charges are added at checkout.
Shipping to Countries Within the EU: (purchased in any currency)
~ NO additional EU country’s VAT or duty is added during Discovery Knitting’s check out.
~ Shipping Charges are added at checkout.
~ Since Brexit – All EU countries have individual incoming VAT rates.
(All EU VAT bills are responsibility of customer to pay during the UPS transit process)
(For reference: it is often possible for businesses to get the VAT back from your government -need to set it up-)
Shipping to Countries Outside of the EU: (purchased in any currency)

USA Shipments ~ After Checkout: No Additional bills ever come
from either UPS or USA Customs (whenever duty might apply)
Everything is Pre Paid at Discovery website checkout.
All US Dollar prices per metre on product pages:
~ do not include freight
~ weight based freight is added only at checkout
after the correct shipping location (zip code) is identified
~ Freight to USA is via UPS / with Discovery’s discounted rate
~ USA Duty:
~ Swatch orders: Duty not required (not added at checkout)
~ Fabric Orders: (fabric total purchase / not including freight)
~ Under USD $ 725.00 – Duty not required (not added at checkout)
~ Over USD $ 725.00 – Duty is required
~ 13% Duty & Service Handling is Pre Paid at checkout
Kindly Note:
~ When USA Duty applies / the duty charge will appear in checkout on the “VAT” line.
It was not possible to change the word “VAT” to “USA Duty & handling” in the website template.
There will be a clarification text note visible Above the VAT line /stating it is for Duty.

If want to know the Yard Reference Price for any fabric: Use Formuala:
“Dollar per Meter Price ” x .9144 = ” Dollar per Yard Price ”
Example: “USD $ 7.38 per Meter” x .9144 = “USD $ 6.75 per Yard”
